George Antheil, Paul Ben-Haim, Percy Grainger, Joseph Holbrooke, Gordon Jacob, Gustav Mahler, Gian Carlo Menotti, Carl Orff, Ottorino Respighi, George Rochberg, Jacob Weinberg, and Henryk Wieniawski all had or have birthday anniversaries this week, as did some notable performers.
