    Diabolical Halloween Music on WPRB

The music is so compelling, it’s diabolical!

This Thursday morning on WPRB, with the approach of Halloween, prepare yourself for some wild rides. There will be heart-pounding sprints through nocturnal forests; breathless pursuits by witches, demons, and djinns; and white-knuckle plunges into the abyss.

We’ll hurtle out of control, as modes of transportation go awry, cower under the blankets at the call of ghostly huntsmen, and even experience a literal “night mare.”

We’ll be pursued, kidnapped, and narrowly avert damnation, this Thursday morning, from 6 to 11 EDT, on WPRB 103.3 FM and wprb.com. If we’re not exactly pure, at least we’re chased, on Classic Ross Amico.

In the sage words of Groucho Marx, the Lord Alps those who Alp themselves.

While that may very well be true, the programming you enjoy on WPRB 103.3 FM is made possible through the generosity of listeners in our community. A little-known fact about WPRB is that, although it is the radio station of Princeton University, it is independently owned and funded. That means we rely on those of you in the community who believe strongly enough in our mission, eclecticism and passion – and yes, our music and the manner in which we present it – to dig deep and drop something into our penny jar.

As we continue to enjoy this morning’s “mountain” music, please consider taking a moment to follow the link below to learn more. You’ll find some updates about the station and get a glimpse of the fall thank you gifts.

WPRB’s “silent drive” runs through November 17. Thank you in advance for your tax-deductible donation.

P.S. If you donate now, you might even be able to get a swig from the barrel. Just do so quietly; we don’t want to trigger an avalanche (hence the silent drive).

WPRB Webstream Down Tune to 103.3 FM

I’m sorry to report, if you live outside the range of our analogue signal, that the WPRB webstream at wprb.com is down this morning. I’m told that we’re working to get it up again as soon as possible. If you live as far south as Philadelphia, or even further (I’ve received the signal all the way down into Delaware), or west, into the Lehigh Valley, for instance, try to get us on your radio. We’ve actually got pretty good analogue coverage at WPRB 103.3 FM. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully we’ll be back soon!
