It’s been brought to my attention by Paul Lehrman of the Ballet Mécanique Project that my article on Trenton’s “Bad Boy of Music,” George Antheil, is in the March issue of the Trenton Downtowner, out today. Antheil’s “Jazz Symphony” will be presented by the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey on a program devoted to classical music of “The Jazz Age,” which will also include works by Igor Stravinsky, Darius Milhaud, and Kurt Weill. The concert will take place at the Trenton War Memorial’s George Washington Ballroom on March 10.
