Even in time of COVID, our dedicated listeners come through for us! With hosts interacting from separate studios and staff answering phones from home, we were able to crest $65,000 in donations, making our end-of-the-fiscal-year fundraiser a success. This is not underappreciated during such a turbulent time. We at WWFM – The Classical Network and wwfm.org thank you for your extraordinary generosity!

Bach $1750 Finale Fundraiser Today
Johann Sebastian Bach died in 1750. By coincidence, we have exactly $1750 left in challenge money.
I hope you’ll join us this morning on The Classical Network for a special Bach finale to our “Gathering of Gratitude” fundraiser. That will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST, and then we will be THROUGH with this autumn campaign! Your dollars will be doubled up to the amount of $1750, and then we are DONE. I hope you will support us TODAY at 1-888-232-1212 or by donating online at wwfm.org. Then stick around and enjoy our weekly broadcast of “Bach at 1.”
Today is also your LAST CHANCE to get in on our celebratory “Gratitude Gala,” which we are all very much looking forward to. The gala will take place at the Mercer County Community College Conference Center, on MCCC’s West Windsor campus, this Friday (Saint Cecilia’s Day), from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be food, there will be drink, there will be conversation with our hosts and celebrity guests, and there will be music, courtesy of Manhattan Chamber Players.
A contribution in the amount of $200 will generate a golden ticket for you and a guest to attend. But we need to hear from you TODAY, in order to get an accurate headcount, so that we’ll be able to pick up enough booze! Again, that number is 1-888-232-1212, or join us online at wwfm.org, and click on donate.
Once we’ve taken care of business, we can put our financial concerns to bed, and I’ll be on at 4:00 with a late afternoon/early evening of music made possible by YOU – including warm acknowledgements of the birthdays today of Johann Friedrich Fasch, Carl Maria von Weber, Ignaz Paderewski and Eugene Ormandy. Of course, there’s plenty more where that came from.
Bach may have died in 1750, but his music is alive and kicking, thanks to the generous support of our listener-members. Thanks so much for 37 years of WWFM – The Classical Network!

Classical Music Halloween Treat WWFM
“Music… GOOD!”
On this Halloween, join us, if you dare, for a playlist of frights and delights, as we continue to solicit treats from our generous listeners. Candy bars or fast food gift certificates are all well and good, but what we’re really hoping for are your dimes.
Please support the classical music that binds us with a donation in any amount, by calling The Classical Network at 1-888-232-1212, or by visiting our website, wwfm.org.
Your contribution puts the fuel in our ghoul.
As a show of thanks for our strongest contributors, we are offering a special Gratitude Gala on November 22. The gala will be studded with celebrity hosts like Rob Kapilow (“What Makes It Great”), Jed Distler (“Between the Keys”) and David Dubal (“The Piano Matters”). Music will be an integral part of the experience, and yes, there will be food.
If you’ve already received an invitation, please RSVP as soon as you can. If you haven’t received an invitation and would still like to attend (with up to one guest), a gift of $200 during our fall fundraiser is just the ticket. The event will be held at the Conference Center on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College, from 6 to 9 p.m.
If you can’t afford the $200, do NOT think your contribution doesn’t matter! We offer gifts at all levels. CDs, travel mugs, vehicle magnets, tote bags – we’d love to send you something. But these are all as mere tokens of our gratitude for your being there for us when we need you the most. The real thanks come in the form of the kind of quality music we offer you every day, at the touch of a button or the click of a mouse.
We’re furiously cutting eye holes in our parents’ sheets, rubbing burnt cork on our cheeks, and blacking out our teeth. Trick or treat! Our music is scary good, on WWFM – The Classical Network and wwfm.org.
Thank you for your support of The Classical Network!

WWFM Classical Radio Needs You
Classical radio is as delicate as a glass slipper. We at WWFM – The Classical Network have been bringing great music to your community for 37 years, because of engaged listeners just like you.
Thank you to all of you who participated in The Classical Network’s end-of-the-fiscal-year fundraiser. Unfortunately, we are still a little short of our goal.
REMEMBER, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION ONLINE AT WWFM.ORG UNTIL 11:59 TONIGHT and still have it count toward this year’s budget.
Make this a fairy tale ending, won’t you? Work your magic with your donation at wwfm.org.
The ball ends at midnight. Don’t let us start out 2019-2020 in a pumpkin!

Support Classical Music Travel the World with WWFM
There’s no noon concert like no Noon Concert.
Instead, we’ll have wall-to-wall music about travel on The Classical Network, as we continue with our end-of-the-fiscal-year fundraiser. We’re asking not only that you contribute, but that you contribute to the programming. If you’re planning to take a trip yourself, let us know where, when you make your donation, and we’ll try to play something associated with that particular locale.
Even if you haven’t any travel plans at the moment, let us know where you’d like to go someday. If the destination is particularly challenging – and challenging is always interesting – there could be a slight delay in our musical response, as we may have to draw from our own personal collections, but we’ll do our best to celebrate your contribution ASAP.
It all ties in with our new WWFM travel mug, yours for a contribution of $120. If you go for it, take it with you and photograph it with an identifiable landmark. We’ll post some of the best shots on the station’s Facebook page.
There is no “easy pass” in classical radio. Help us cover the tolls by calling us at 1-888-232-1212, or by contributing online at wwfm.org.
With your help, we’ll continue to go places, both today and well into the future, on WWFM – The Classical Network and wwfm.org. Thank you for your support!
